Fiona Famulak

President & CEO at BC Chamber of Commerce

Fiona is passionate about business and has over 30 years international experience, gained in Europe, Asia Pacific and Canada, working in the private and not-for-profit sectors.

As a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, Fiona’s core expertise lies in being able to critically assess a business from a financial and risk management perspective and thereafter establish the organizational infrastructure necessary to help it enhance its future success. However, as an ambitious and accomplished executive, her passion lies in connecting with people and building communities around meaningful conversations that catalyze positive change.

Guided by the core value of being of service to others and attaching a high premium to the importance of fairness and courage in words and actions, Fiona provides a variety of perspectives to her role at the BC Chamber of Commerce. As a seasoned not-for-profit executive, she understands the pressure facing associations to support their members in ways that respond effectively to their needs. As a former small business owner, she understands the importance of having a clear vision, customer-centric plan and nimbleness with which to respond to changing market conditions. And as an experienced board member, she understands the critical importance of good governance.

Fiona works collaboratively with the team, Board of Directors, member Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade, partners and governments to define and deliver economic recovery solutions that help build a business community in British Columbia that is competitive, innovative and inclusive.
