Jeff Porter is an experienced User Experience Lead and Digital Media Designer at Science World since July 2014, responsible for maintaining and developing the main website, redesigning supporting sites, and contributing to digital strategies. Prior to this role, Jeff produced and co-hosted "The Fear of Science" podcast from August 2018 to July 2021, facilitating discussions between scientists and the public. Jeff's background includes positions as a Web Designer and Developer at Clio, Project Manager/Web Developer at Cowie and Fox, and Graphic Designer roles at various companies, including Graphic Depictions and Fresh Inc. Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Thompson Rivers University and an Associate's degree in Fine Arts from the University College of the Cariboo.
