Tyler Thompson

Tyler Thompson, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance & External Financial Services at Métis Nation British Columbia since January 2023, having previously held the position of Manager of External Financial Services. With extensive experience in accounting, Tyler worked as a Senior Accountant at Summa Linguae Technologies, where responsibilities included full-cycle accounting and support for financial reporting. Prior to that, Tyler was an Accounting Associate at Galloway Botteselle & Company, performing assurance engagements and mentorship. Additional roles include a Marketing and Business Development Consultant, and a variety of positions within the public service and financial sectors. Tyler's educational background includes a Chartered Professional Accountant designation and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, complemented by an Award of Excellence in Social Media.
