Ab Dosil

Executive Director, Information & Digital Services at BC Oil & Gas Commission

Ab Dosil has a strong background in information systems and technology. Ab started their career as a Senior Application Support Analyst at Denver Technology in 2005. In 1998, they moved on to Sierra Systems where they worked as a Consultant for ten years. In 2008, they joined BC Oil and Gas Commission as a Manager, Information Technology before being promoted to the role of Director, Information Technology in 2010. Ab held this position until 2014 when they joined BC Energy Regulator as the Executive Director of Information Systems & Technology.

Ab Dosil obtained a Diploma in Computer Science Technology from Camosun College from 1995 to 1998. In 2012, they also completed a Leadership Development Program in Building Leadership Essentials at the Niagra Institute. Furthermore, in the same year, Ab Dosil pursued a degree in IT Strategic Management focused on Management Information Systems and Services at Queen's University.
