Sean Curry

Sean Curry has a diverse and extensive work experience in the natural resource and environmental sector. Sean has held various roles with the BC Oil and Gas Commission, starting in 2012 as a Manager of Resource Development and eventually becoming the VP Responsible Development & Stewardship. In these roles, they have overseen the responsible development and stewardship of energy resources, ensured compliance with environmental regulations, and fostered relationships with First Nations communities. Prior to their work with the BC Oil and Gas Commission, Sean worked as a Strategic Planning Forester at Forsite Consultants Ltd and as a Senior Professional Services Manager at Teco Natural Resource Group. Sean also has experience in forestry and management roles at Weyerhaeuser and Weldwood of Canada. Overall, Sean's work experience demonstrates their expertise in resource development, environmental stewardship, and strategic planning in the natural resource sector.

Sean Curry earned a Diploma in Finance and Management Accounting from the Banff School of Management in 1992. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry at The University of British Columbia, graduating in 1985.
