Trevor Swan

Trevor Swan is the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Trevor is responsible for overseeing the Commission’s Operations Division, including regulating the full life cycle of energy resource development, from issuing approvals to managing closure and liability.

Trevor has over 40 years of experience in natural resource sector regulation in B.C., including more than 10 years in oil and gas. Prior to taking on this role, Trevor served as the Commission’s EVP, Liabilities and Orphans.

Trevor is a registered professional forester, a lawyer and a chartered director and is a member in good standing with the Association of BC Forest Professionals, the Law Society of BC and the Director’s College.
