Stephen Usher

Stephen Usher is an experienced finance professional, currently serving as Managing Director at BC Partners since June 2023. Usher holds board positions at Turning Point Brands, Inc. since March 2021 and Mount Logan Capital Inc. until June 2024, contributing to compensation committees at both organizations. Previously, Usher was the Managing Director and Head of Distribution at Lafayette Square from April 2021 to May 2023, and a Partner at Standard General L.P. from March 2009 to April 2021. Usher co-founded Serengeti Asset Management from March 2007 to March 2009 and served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs from September 1996 to January 2006, specializing in FICC, distressed bond, and loan sales and trading. Usher earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Wesleyan University.
