Alexander Akimov

Alexander Akimov has worked in the software engineering industry since 2002. Alexander began their career as a Researcher at the University of Joensuu in 2002. In 2006, they moved on to become a Senior Software Engineer at Motorola Mobile Devices. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Teleca. During this same time period, they also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Biocomputing Platforms Ltd Oy. Finally, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at BC Platforms since 2012.

Alexander Akimov received their MSc in Applied Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University between 1995 and 2000. Alexander then went on to earn their MSc in Computer Science from Joensuun yliopisto from 2000 to 2001. Finally, they earned their PhD in Computer Science from Joensuun yliopisto between 2002 and 2006.
