Dr. Viktória Sassi-Prantner, PhD is currently employed as a Project Manager, Data Science at BC Platforms, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at IQVIA from 2021 as an Associate Project Manager, Real World Evidence, where they were responsible for global and local project management, scope development, budgeting, resourcing, client contact and communication. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Neosmart Health Ltd as a Science Project Manager and Biomedical Specialist. From 2011 to 2018, they were a Researcher and Doctoral Candidate at the University of Eastern Finland, where they supervised Master's students, Bachelor and college students, and taught courses in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Biochemical and Biotechnological methods. In 2013, they were an Occupational Trainee at the University of Queensland National Research Center for Environmental Toxicology, where they aimed to identify new environmental chemicals that may interact with physiological processes. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Researcher and Research Project Assistant at the University of Eastern Finland Department of Applied Physics, where they conducted research on osteoporosis, bone biomechanics, micro-computed tomographic method and NMR spectroscopy, and developed an NMR spectroscopic method for the early detection of osteoporosis.
Dr. Viktória Sassi-Prantner began their education in 1996, graduating with a High School Diploma from Vak Bottyan Gimnazium in 2002. Dr. Viktória then attended the University of Pécs and earned their BSc. in Physiotherapy in 2007. From 2008 to 2010, Dr. Sassi-Prantner attended the University of Jyväskylä and earned their MSc. in Biomechanics - Biology of Physical Activity. Finally, they attended the University of Eastern Finland and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2018.
