Juha Muilu

Juha Muilu has a wealth of experience in software development and research. Juha'swork experience began in 1986 at the University of Joensuu, where they held various positions such as Research Fellow and Researcher. In 1996, they moved to the EMBL-EBI as a Research Officer. In 2002, they took on the role of Head of Informatics at the Finnish Genome Center. From 2008 to 2014, they were a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland. During this time, they also held the role of Senior Software Developer at the University Medical Center Groningen. Since 2014, they have been the Lead Software Developer at BC Platforms.

Juha Muilu completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical Chemistry from the University of Eastern Finland in 1995. Prior to that, they attained a Licentiate of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry from the same university in 1992, and a Master's Degree in Chemistry and Computer Science (minor) in 1989.
