Derek Larkins

Derek Larkins is a Network Support Specialist at BC Services, Inc. since July 2022. Prior to this role, Derek co-founded AtticaVoting in August 2019 and served as Lead Developer, where the focus was on developing an online voting solution using the Hedera Hashgraph network and leading a diverse team of students. Earlier experience includes a Cyber Security Internship at Colorado State University, where Derek conducted research on risk and vulnerability assessments and transitioned into a leadership position to enhance campus processes with distributed ledger technology. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Computational Mathematics from Colorado State University, completed in 2020, and a High School Diploma from Beacon Academy of Nevada, awarded in 2015.
