Ashwin Shyam

Ashwin Shyam is an experienced professional in commodity and energy strategy, currently serving as an Associate Editor and Research Analyst at BCA Research since October 2020, where quantitative research and econometric modeling are key responsibilities. Prior to this, Ashwin held roles at McGill University's Institute for the Study of International Development, focusing on ESG and SDG indices, and at ProductNation/iSPIRT as an Economist, developing a pricing model for data protection in India. Earlier experience includes reporting for Thomson Reuters and research internships at Equitas Small Finance Bank and Goldman Sachs. Ashwin holds a Master's degree in Economics from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Loyola College.
