Chief U.s. Investment Strategist at BCA Research

Doug Peta, CFA has a strong background in investment strategy and research. Doug started their career at J.&W. Seligman & Co. as a Market Strategist, Senior Vice President, where they developed market and economic views for the firm's investment teams and sales force. Doug also covered the Financials sector for the Core Investment team and achieved consistent outperformance compared to the S&P 500 Financials sector. During their time at Seligman, they also represented the firm in the media. In 2009, Doug joined Qualitative Associates, LLC as Chief Strategist until 2010. At Qualitative Associates, they played a vital role in developing investment strategies. Since 2010, Doug has been working at BCA Research as the Chief U.S. Investment Strategist. In this role, they conduct original research for the firm's client base of leading global institutional investors. Doug also advises and consults with various types of investors, ranging from asset owners to family office managers. Additionally, they have contributed to the growth and development of BCA's strategy services, including the founding of Global ETF Strategy.

Doug Peta, CFA holds an MBA degree in Economics and Finance, which they acquired from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition to their MBA, they also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia.
