Alois Heuboeck

Alois Heuboeck is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in data analysis and linguistic technology. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at BCA UK since May 2021, Alois previously worked at SWIFT in Financial Crime analysis from June 2017 to May 2021. Early career achievements include freelance work in Natural Language Processing and a significant tenure at Oxford University Press, where contributions included developing XML data models and managing workflows for language resources. Previous roles involved lecturing at the University of Reading, research fellowships, and language engineering at the Commissariat à l'énergie atomique. Alois holds a Master’s degree in Computational Linguistics from Université Paris-Sorbonne and both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Applied Linguistics from the University of Vienna.
