Derek Wilson

Derek Wilson is a seasoned contract writer and researcher with a diverse background in scientific research and technical documentation. Currently self-employed as a freelance contract writer since June 2023, Derek previously served as a Field Technician and Research Coordinator at FarmSense Inc., where responsibilities included writing technical documents and facilitating clear communication with stakeholders. Prior experience includes roles as a Researcher and Lab Manager at Archer Daniels Midland Company, where operations were streamlined for a team of scientists, and as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis, resulting in two published papers on pest insect population dynamics.
