Geraldine Davis-Young

Ms. Davis-Young joined the Board Directors of CIHL in 2018. She has over 25 years of experience in the financial and public revenue sectors.

A former Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit and Commissioner of Inland Revenue for Belize, Ms. Davis-Young also acted as the local consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank during several years including on the implementation of the General Sales Tax in Belize. From 2010 to 2016, Ms. Davis-Young worked in California with H&R Block as a certified Tax Preparer.

Mrs. Davis-Young holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University (JFK School of Government) and a Certificate in International Taxation from Harvard Law School. She also received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Belize and has received numerous trainings in Taxation and Revenue related matters.
