Scott Lowry

President & CEO at BTC Broadband

Scott Lowry has been in the telecommunications industry for over 25 years. Scott started as an Access Network Cost Analyst and worked their way up to Senior Access Planning Manager at WilTel/WorldCom/MCI. Scott was responsible for a wide range of tasks, including access cost and billing analysis, implementation of third party network segments, and management of SS7 network diversity. Scott also oversaw the integration of new DMS-250 switches and acquired networks, optimizing network capacity and migrating customers, decommissioning of redundant equipment and facilities, and developing master network and collocation agreements with telecom carriers.

In 2002, Lowry left MCI to join BTC Broadband as President & CEO. Under their leadership, BTC Broadband has become one of the largest providers of broadband services in the United States. In their current role, Lowry is responsible for all aspects of BCC Broadband's business, including strategy, operations, sales, marketing, and finance.

Scott Lowry holds a MBA in Finance and Economics from The University of Tulsa and a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University. Scott also has certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in IT Service Management and MEF Forum in MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional.
