Pierre Renggli has had a long and varied work experience in the travel industry. Pierre started their career in 1978 as an International Travel Consultant at Kuoni. Pierre then served as an Implant Manager from 1984 to 1989 and eventually became the Director of Leisure Sales. In 1992, they joined Business Travel International (BTI) as a Regional Sales Manager, and over the years, held several roles including European Implementation Manager, Head of National Account Management, Head of International Accounts, and eventually became the Head of Business Management for BTI Switzerland. In 2004, they joined HRG as the Head of Client Management Services for Switzerland and also served as the Global Strategic Account Manager. In 2007, Pierre moved to BCD Travel, initially serving as the Director of Multinational Project Management for EMEA & APAC, and later becoming the Vice President of the Global Project Management Organization. Pierre retired from BCD Travel in 2007.

Pierre Renggli has a diverse education history that spans several decades. Pierre obtained a High School Diploma in Business and Administration from Saint-Michel College Fribourg in 1977. In 1978, they earned another High School Diploma in Commerce and English from Swiss Mercantile College London. Later that year, they completed their studies at Belluard Commercial School Fribourg, receiving a High School Diploma in Commerce and Travel. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Pierre pursued various professional certificates from different institutions. These include certificates in Global Business Travel, Account Management, Leadership and Management Development, Negotiation Skills, Advanced Account Management Skills, and Project Management. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Project Management from the American Academy of Project Managers. Finally, in 2016, Pierre attended Cornell University, where they earned a Certificate in Executive Leadership, Business Administration, and Management.
