Thane Jackson

Thane Jackson has a diverse work experience in the travel industry. Thane began their career as a National Training Manager at Carlson Wagonlit Travel from July 1991 to June 1994. Thane then served as a Branch Manager at the same company from June 1994 to August 1997. In September 1997, Thane joined Rosenbluth International as an European Account Manager, staying till December 1998. In January 1999, they joined BCD Travel as a General Manager and worked there until December 2005. From January 2006 to June 2014, Thane held the role of Vice President, UK North Division & UKIE Supplier Relations at BCD Travel, responsible for managing P&L, Operations, and Account Management functions. From July 2014 to June 2019, they became Vice President - Global Distribution & Channel Strategy at BCD Travel, overseeing global relationships with strategic distribution partners. Currently, Thane holds the position of Senior Vice President - Global Distribution Strategy & Supplier Partnerships Europe at BCD Travel starting from July 2019.

Thane Jackson attended Calday Grange Grammar from 1973 to 1979. Thane then went on to study at Northumbria University from 1987 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Honours in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
