David H. Lefferts

David H. Lefferts serves as President and Head of Americas at BCG Expand since May 2018, leading the competitive intelligence advisory arm of Boston Consulting Group. Prior experience includes a role as Managing Director at SWIFT, where David directed the North American rollout of global payment innovations and launched the KYC Registry, as well as participation in the Federal Reserve's Faster Payments Task Force. At IHS Markit, David was a Managing Director responsible for global client management, overseeing significant revenue from major banking clients. Additionally, David held positions at FINRA, running the TRACE initiative, and Instinet Incorporated, where strategic oversight of equity businesses was key. David's academic background includes an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Psychology and Business from Skidmore College. David also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Polytechnic School of Engineering, focusing on technology disruptions in financial services.
