Philipp Carlsson-Szlezak

Philipp Carlsson-Szlezak is a highly experienced economist currently serving as Managing Director and Partner, as well as Global Chief Economist at Boston Consulting Group since 2020. Prior to this role, Philipp held the position of Chief Economist at AB Bernstein from 2017 to 2020, focusing on sell-side economics coverage for institutional investors. Philipp also worked at Boston Consulting Group from 2009 to 2017 as Chief Economist, after initially joining as a Principal. Earlier career experiences include serving as Project Manager at OECD - OCDE in 2008-2009 and as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company from 2006 to 2008. Educational achievements include a PhD from the University of Oxford and a BSc from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
