Pierre Joris is a seasoned senior advisor and board member with over 36 years of multi-functional and multi-cultural experience in the chemical industry. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board for SPIRE2030 and a Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group, Joris focuses on innovation management and strategic consulting in the materials and process industries. Previously, Joris held leadership roles including CEO of Solvay Engineered Polymers and Managing Director at Solvay Solexis SpA, demonstrating a strong track record in general management and P&L accountability. Joris earned degrees in Engineering and Physics from the University of Liège, and a Master’s in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University.
