Andrés Zelman

Andrés Zelman has over 20 years of experience in various roles, including as a Principal Business Solutions Engineer at BCI, where they are responsible for delivering analysis, design, and solutioning services for technology projects. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Business Consultant at Fujitsu Global, focusing on digital transformation for the education sector. Andrés also has a significant background at Pegasystems, where they served as a Principal Solutions Consultant and provided strategic consulting for Fortune Global 500 clients. Before that, Andrés worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Liberty Global, managing complex database marketing projects. Additionally, they have experience as a Founder and Consultant at Thinkamalinks, as well as an Assistant Professor at UvA.

Andrés Zelman holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Science & Technology Dynamics from the University of Amsterdam, which they obtained from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts - MA degree in Communications Studies from the University of Calgary, from 1994 to 1997. Andrés also holds a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis from Trent University, which they earned between 1989 and 1993. Additionally, Andrés has obtained various certifications including Investment Foundations from the CFA Institute in 2021 and SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2019. Andrés also holds certifications as a Certified Systems Architect (CSA) from Pegasystems in 2017 and as a Certified Pega Marketing Consultant (CPMC) from the same institution in 2014. In 1988-1989, they earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Ridley College.
