Aun Mela has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2008, they worked as an Information Systems Analyst at Philips. From 2011 to 2016, they held multiple roles at Saudi Aramco, including Investment Analyst, Project Engineer, and Unit Lead. During this time, they worked on renewable energy projects, conducted feasibility studies, and developed financial models. In 2017, Aun Mela became the President of the Energy & Resources Club at Ivey Business School, where they focused on energy-related activities and networking. They later joined BCI in 2018, where they held the positions of Associate, Principal, and Senior Principal in Infrastructure and Renewable Resources. In 2020, Aun Mela became a Non-Executive Board Director at ISAGEN S.A and Transelec S.A. They also served as a Limited Partner Advisory Committee member at BlackRock. In 2022, Aun Mela joined REDEN as a Non-Executive Board Director. Finally, in 2023, they became a Non-Executive Board Director at Eku Energy, a company specializing in energy storage projects.
