Prior to this role, Jie Shu worked at BC Public Service from February 2004 to October 2015 as a Corporate Data Architect and Senior Economist. Earlier experience includes positions as a Database Modeler/Decision Analyst at Deluxe Corporation from January 2001 to January 2004 and as a Research Associate at the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology from August 1995 to November 1998. Jie Shu holds a Master of Science in Applied & Computational Mathematics from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automation from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
