Shane Leech-Porter

Shane Leech-Porter, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and equity research. Currently serving as Managing Director of Global Thematic at BCI since November 2010, Shane has been instrumental in building a leading Thematic program since taking on the role in February 2018, employing an actively managed portfolio with a focus on sustainability and productivity. Prior roles include Interim Senior Managing Director of Active Portfolio Management overseeing approximately $20 billion across various strategies, and Portfolio Manager for Global Thematic. Shane's career began in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets and includes equity research roles at Desjardins Securities and TD Securities, where significant contributions included establishing coverage for merchandising and consumer products.
