Karen Gaia-Maretta

Karen Gaia-Maretta is an experienced professional with a strong background in executive assistance and internal auditing. Currently serving as an Internal Auditor and previously as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at BCLC since June 2018, Karen has contributed to enhancing entertainment offerings and revenue generation for the Province of B.C. Previously, Karen held key positions at BC Clinical and Support Services, Ausenco, Henriquez Partners Architects, Partnerships BC, and WG Interactive Inc. Karen’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology/Sociology from Simon Fraser University and a Diploma in Journalism Arts from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
