Andrea Dunbar

Andrea Dunbar serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Sector Edge AI and Vision at CSEM since February 2006, managing project acquisition and project management. In addition, Andrea holds roles as a Senior Research Engineer and Professor of Practice at EPFL, teaching Innovation Management and Digitalisation. Andrea's experience includes being a Board Member at BCN, and previously a PostDoc Researcher at EPFL focusing on optics and photonic crystals. Additional research experience includes a postdoctoral role at Trinity College Dublin studying photoluminescence. Before entering academia, Andrea worked as a broker and data analyst in finance. Academic credentials encompass a PhD in Physics from Trinity College Dublin, a Masters of Technology from EPFL, and a Bachelor's of Science in Physics from the University of St Andrews.
