Sustainability Engineer at BCOME

Mathilde Fiorletta has a diverse background in sustainability and engineering. Mathilde is currently working as a Sustainability Engineer at BCOME, where they conduct research and development on BCome software, focusing on the scalability of calculation methodologies and versioning management. Prior to this, Mathilde worked as a Sustainability Researcher at LEITAT Technological Center and as a Sustainability Project Engineer at Vertech Group, where they were involved in projects related to circular economy, biotechnology, biomaterials, and waste valorization. Mathilde also gained experience as a Junior Project Engineer at Vertech Group, supporting project operations and participating in proposal writing. Mathilde started their career as a Research Assistant at UPC School, where they worked on a research project related to drug delivery from 3-D printed bioresorbable stents. Mathilde also had a brief experience as an Engineer Assistant at Transluminal, where they assisted project managers and gained insight into the business world and its various functions.

Mathilde Fiorletta completed their Master of Engineering in Material Science and Engineering at Ecole Européenne d'Ingénieurs en Génie des Matériaux from 2013 to 2018. In 2017, they also studied Material Science & Engineering at Luleå University of Technology. Mathilde Fiorletta has additional certifications including the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) obtained from Instituto Cervantes in June 2016, and the FCE (First Certificate in English) obtained from Cambridge English Language Assessment in June 2015.
