Rehaaz Barnes

Rehaaz Barnes is an experienced operations manager with a strong background in the Point of Sale sector. Since June 2021, Rehaaz has been serving as the Operations Manager for Field Services at BCX, overseeing a team of eight managers responsible for client maintenance and installations. Prior to this role, Rehaaz worked at GAAP Point-of-Sale from July 2012 to June 2021 as a Support and Installation Technician, specializing in the installation and maintenance of POS systems. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Group Leader (Branch Manager) at CEB Maintenance Africa from January 1999 to May 2012. Rehaaz holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Manager of Managers Programme from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, expected to complete in May 2025, and an Electrical Engineering degree from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Rehaaz completed secondary education at Spine Road Secondary School, earning a Matric qualification.
