Tristan Ward is a highly experienced legal professional specializing in English property law, particularly pertaining to rural property and the interests of private individuals. As a Partner and Head of the Landed Estates, Rural and Agriculture Team at BDB Pitmans since April 2019, Tristan leads the firm's focus in these areas. Prior to this, Tristan was a Partner at Macfarlanes LLP from September 1997 to March 2019, providing comprehensive legal advice on property matters. Tristan also has extensive practical experience in agriculture, having been a partner at W Rogers and Son, a family farming business in north-west Kent, from April 1966 to February 2015. Tristan earned a BA in Zoology from the University of Oxford (1985-1988) and attended Winchester College (1980-1984).
