Lauren Franco

Lauren Angat joined BDC as Vice President, Business Development Officer in 2022 after a seven year career in banking with TD Bank. While working for TD Bank, Lauren gained experience with Small Business, Commercial and SBA lending, including formal credit training. During the SBA PPP program, Lauren was instrumental in assisting small businesses with funding, as well as training others within the bank to process PPP loans and applications. Lauren will focus on new business development for SBA 504 loans in the areas of Connecticut, Western Massachusetts, Vermont, and Southern New Hampshire. She earned a B.A. in Finance and a Certificate in Banking from Florida International University. Lauren currently resides in Glastonbury, CT, with her fiancé Tom, and their dog, Sami.
