Ezgi Kaya

Ezgi Kaya has an extensive background in the legal field. Ezgi currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Legal Affairs & General Counsel at BDG since April 2022. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Legal at Bitly from November 2021 to April 2022. From February 2017 to October 2021, Ezgi served as a Corporate Counsel at Amazon, where they handled various legal matters related to product development, content production, intellectual property, and advertising, among others. Ezgi also worked as an Associate General Counsel at ALM Media, LLC from September 2015 to February 2017 and as a Corporate Counsel, Senior Manager at Getty Images from May 2013 to September 2015. Ezgi has experience in production law as well, having worked as a Production Attorney at Sony Embassy Row in December 2012. Ezgi began their legal career as a Corporate Associate at Teigland-Hunt LLP from September 2011 to October 2012, and later as a Corporate Associate at King & Spalding LLP from October 2010 to September 2011. Ezgi's early career includes their role as a Corporate Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from 2007 to 2010.

Ezgi Kaya attended Queen's University, where they pursued a degree in the School of Business and completed their education in 2003. Later, they enrolled at the University of Toronto in the Faculty of Law and completed their J.D. degree there in 2007.
