Dr. Martin F. Meyer serves as the Deputy Head of Department for Finance, Members, and Central Services at Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V. since November 2012, with prior roles including Senior Manager in various areas such as Member Issues and Association Development, Strategic Planning and Coordination, and Sustainability and CSR. A Senior Policy Advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH during a short secondment in mid-2024, Dr. Meyer has also worked as a Research Associate at Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, a Blue book stagiaire at the European Commission, and interned at Auswärtiges Amt and the European Parliament. Academically, Dr. Meyer holds a PhD in International Relations and an MPhil in European Union Studies from the University of Cambridge, complemented by an exchange semester at McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Social Sciences from Jacobs University Bremen.
