Faheem Chowdhury

Faheem Chowdhury is a seasoned professional in corporate finance and economic development with extensive experience in leading advisory roles across East Africa. Currently serving as Portfolio Lead at Manufacturing Africa since July 2020, Faheem focuses on driving $1.2 billion in foreign direct investment and job creation in the manufacturing sector. In addition, Faheem holds the position of Director in Corporate Finance & Deals Advisory at BDO East Africa. Prior to these roles, Faheem was involved in M&A lead advisory at PwC and contributed to international development projects with Atos Consulting. Faheem's career began as an Equity Research Analyst at State Street Bank. An MSc in International Development from the University of Bath and a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Surrey further enhance Faheem's expertise in strategic economic initiatives.
