Sarah Afker has a diverse range of work experience. Sarah started their career as an Intern at the United Nations in 2006, where they focused on supporting peace and development in Sri Lanka. Sarah then joined KPMG Sri Lanka as a Manager, where they worked on various aspects of accounting and business consultancy. Sarah also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at First Global Academy and APIIT Sri Lanka, specializing in Islamic Banking and Finance. Currently, they hold the position of Partner/Head of Tax at BDO Sri Lanka & Maldives, overseeing tax-related matters for national and international clients.

Sarah Afker has a diverse education history. From 1994 to 2005, they attended Ilma International School, although the field of study and degree obtained during this time are not specified.
