Philip Nolan

Philip Nolan is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in VAT and indirect taxes. Currently serving as a Partner at BDO Ireland since September 2021, Philip previously held the position of Head of Indirect Taxes and Tax Principal at ByrneWallace LLP from September 2018 to September 2021. Prior experience includes a role as VAT Director at KPMG Ireland from October 2003 to August 2018. Philip's education includes a Certificate in Sustainability Strategy, Risk and Reporting from Chartered Accountants Ireland (2024), an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification from Chartered Accountants Ireland (2006), and an AITI Chartered Tax Adviser designation from the Irish Tax Institute (2006). Additionally, Philip holds a MBS in Accounting and a BA in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University (2002).
