Adrian Wyss

Adrian Wyss has extensive work experience in the field of indirect tax and VAT. Adrian currently holds the position of Partner and Head of VAT at BDO Switzerland since May 2021. Prior to that, they were a Partner at BDO Switzerland, specializing in indirect tax and VAT. Adrian also served as a Guest Lecturer on VAT at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW since June 2019. Adrian was previously a Partner at PrimeTax AG, where they focused on indirect tax and VAT from September 2010 to July 2012. Before joining PrimeTax AG, they worked as a Senior Associate at VISCHER from January 2009 to August 2010. Adrian also gained valuable experience in indirect tax and customs during their tenure at PwC, where they held the position of Senior Manager from November 2005 to December 2008. Prior to PwC, they worked as a Consultant in Indirect Tax and Customs at KPMG from April 2002 to October 2005. Adrian began their professional career as a Commercial Clerk at Treuhand Strasser AG from January 2001 to March 2002. Adrian received their initial training and experience as a Trainee in Audit and Taxes at Arthur Andersen from September 1997 to December 2000.

Adrian Wyss attended Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg from 1993 to 1999, where they pursued a MAS of Arts degree with a focus on Corporate Finance and Handels- & Steuerrecht. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they attended AKAD and obtained a MAS VAT LLM FH degree, though the field of study is not specified.
