Currently serving as Manager of Corporate Finance at BDO Nederland since April 2022, Roel previously held positions as Group Business Controller at ERIKS and Senior Advisor at BDO Nederland. Roel's expertise includes facilitating mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, and conducting business valuations, particularly focusing on large SMEs and family-owned businesses. Roel began a career in finance as a Junior Consultant at Rembrandt Fusies & Overnames and has developed through various roles in finance and risk at DLL and Rabobank. Roel holds two master's degrees in Accountancy and Finance from Tilburg University, along with a pre-university diploma in Nature & Engineering.
