Kim van der Byl CA(SA) MBA is currently serving as an Associate Director and Senior Audit Manager at BDO South Africa since July 2023, while also fulfilling the role of Mentor for SAICA's CA2025 mentoring initiatives from March 2024. With extensive experience in the auditing field, Kim has held positions including acting Senior Manager and Manager at the Auditor-General of South Africa from June 2014 to August 2023, as well as roles at Absa Group and Nexia SAB&T. Early career experiences include positions at Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where essential skills in financial management and accounting were developed. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Business Administration obtained between 2018 and 2021, along with noteworthy leadership and accounting qualifications from esteemed institutions such as the University of Pretoria and University of KwaZulu-Natal.
