Nelson Tan

Nelson Tan is an experienced tax professional currently serving as Executive Director at BDO LLP since November 2022. Prior to this role, Nelson held the position of Director of Tax Investigation & Audit at A Tax Advisor Pte Ltd from January 2014 to January 2022, where responsibilities included assisting clients with IRAS tax investigation and audit queries to mitigate non-compliance consequences. Nelson also worked as a Tax Manager for Deloitte & Touche and PwC from March 2006 to November 2013 and began a career at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore as a Senior Tax Investigator from February 2000 to February 2006. Academically, Nelson holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Leicester.
