Edgar Tan

Edgar Tan is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the banking and workforce management sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Technical Delivery (CRM) at BDO Unibank since July 2025, Edgar previously held the role of Vice President and Head of Product Engineering at Metrobank from August 2022 to June 2025. Edgar's career spans various leadership positions, including Head of Product Development at Davi Solutions Inc. and Senior Director of Engineering at Workforce Optimizer, where expertise in heuristic search engines, big data analytics, and domain knowledge in the healthcare and retail industries was demonstrated. Prior experience includes significant roles at Infor as Systems Development Manager and FriarTuck as Solutions Architect. Edgar holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a major in Computer Engineering from De La Salle University.
