Angela Acosta

Angela Acosta serves as State & Local Tax Principal, National Sales Tax Leader, and East Region Salt Leader at BDO USA since February 2013, specializing in various aspects of state and local taxes, including sales/use tax and income/franchise tax. With over 11 years of experience in prominent Big Four firms, including a role as Director of Salt at Grant Thornton LLP, Angela has a strong foundation in state and local taxation. Previous positions include Tax Manager at DTE Energy and managerial roles at PwC and Arthur Andersen. Angela holds a BA in Professional Accounting and an MBA with a focus on Taxation and Information Systems, both from Michigan State University.
