Stephanie Wells Nicholson, CPA, CMA, currently serves as an Audit Senior at BDO USA, having progressed from an Experienced Audit Associate to an Audit Associate, where responsibilities included conducting audits for public companies in the life sciences and higher education sectors, alongside financial statement analysis and compliance with accounting standards. Prior experience includes roles as an Accounting Intern at NC SBTDC, where support was provided to small business owners, as well as positions at Elliott Davis and BDO as an Audit Intern. Additional roles encompass accounts payable and office management, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and customer relations. Stephanie holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, alongside an Associate of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Cape Fear Community College.
