Craig Platt

Craig Platt is the President of the Cleveland Chapter of BDPA, where efforts focus on empowering Black tech talent and promoting inclusivity in the technology sector. With extensive experience in various leadership roles, Platt previously served as the Managing Director of the IT Sector Partnership at the Greater Cleveland Partnership, where strategic initiatives aimed at addressing the IT talent shortage and creating equitable career pathways for underrepresented populations. Notably, Platt held several positions at GE, including Vice President of Technical Product Management and IT Director across various divisions, where significant improvements in operational efficiency, customer service, and product delivery were achieved. Platt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati.
