Matthew Glasser

Matthew Glasser is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and public affairs. Currently serving as Principal of Communications at BDT & MSD Partners since December 2021, Matthew plays a key role in supporting business owners and long-term investors within a merchant bank environment. Previously, Matthew held leadership positions at Finsbury Glover Hering, now known as FGS Global, culminating in the role of Managing Director, where expertise in navigating complex communications challenges was honed. Earlier career experiences include various roles at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, specializing in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, as well as positions in journalism and publishing, including contributions as an Associate Editor at the Columbia Journal of Literary Criticism. Matthew holds a B.A. in English from Columbia University and has also studied at University College Dublin.
