Phillip Babcock

Phillip Babcock, CPA, currently serves as Vice President of Finance at BDT & MSD Partners, a position held since August 2024. Prior to this role, Phillip was Vice President of Finance at CMT Capital Markets Trading from September 2022 to August 2024, where Phillip also held the title of Controller. Phillip's extensive experience in finance includes significant roles at Mesirow from March 2017 to September 2022, where Phillip advanced from Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A to Vice President of Corporate Accounting and FP&A. Earlier in their career, Phillip worked at Ernst & Young from September 2012 to March 2017, progressing from Assurance Staff to FSO Assurance Senior. Phillip began their professional journey as a student at Marquette University, where a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting was earned. Additionally, Phillip completed internships at Ernst & Young and Beckman Coulter in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
