Matt Lam

Matt Lam is an experienced professional in the data center and facilities management sector with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the DC Operation Director at GDS Holdings Ltd. since February 2024, Matt also functions as the Facilities Manager and Head of Critical Facility at BDx Data Centers since June 2020. Previous roles include Critical Facility Manager at ISS Facility Services (September 2017 - June 2020), Facilities Shift Manager at Global Switch (March 2017 - September 2017), and Data Centre Manager at Telstra International Group (July 2014 - March 2017). Early career experience includes a position as Services Manager at Weltec Engineering & Consultant Limited (October 2003 - June 2014). Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Networks and another in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications, both from Middlesex University (2005 - 2008).
