Wayne Bainter

Scientist II at Be Bio

Wayne Bainter has worked in the biopharmaceutical industry since 2011. In 2011, they were an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Salve Regina University. From 2013 to 2022, they worked at Boston Children's Hospital as a Senior Staff Scientist, Research Technologist, and Research Assistant II, where they managed Sanger and next-generation sequencing (NGS) for an international patient cohort with the goal of uncovering novel and rare primary immunodeficiencies and further characterized possible pathogenic variants using functional immunological assays. In 2022, they began working as a Scientist at Be Biopharma.

Wayne Bainter attended Salve Regina University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology and Biomedical Sciences. Wayne then attended Harvard Medical School from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained an MMSc in Immunology.
