Jorn de Vries

Jorn de Vries has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 when they joined Flitsmeister B.V. as a Managing Meister, responsible for the commercial aspect of the company. Jorn played a key role in achieving user and business growth. In 2017, Jorn founded Whappbook, a platform that turns WhatsApp chats into physical books, and also became a Public Speaker for Sprekersbureau Quality Bookings, sharing their expertise on growing products and services. In the same year, they founded Veganific B.V., a dating platform for vegan-minded singles. Jorn also had experience as the Owner of GoVisual B.V., a Dutch app development company, where they developed apps for mobile platforms and web. Jorn was a Commercial Employee at Omnext, supporting account managers and managing the CRM system. Additionally, they founded Footballshop.nl, an online store for professional football equipment. As a Graduate Student at Seco Tools, Jorn conducted their Bachelor Thesis on the growth of the company in the Netherlands. Currently, they are a Member of the Executive Team at Be-Mobile, a technology company specializing in smart mobility solutions. In 2022, they became the Managing Trucker for Truckmeister, a truck driving app that prioritizes safety and efficiency.

Jorn de Vries began their education at Willem van Oranje, where they completed their secondary school education in the field of Economics and Society. Jorn then attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Commercial Economics. In 2007, they briefly studied at the Snowsports Academy, obtaining the Änwarter certification as a Snowboard Teacher. Later, from 2014 to 2017, Jorn pursued a Master's degree in Strategic Management at Avans Plus.
